GitHub announces the next round of its GitHub Accelerator program

GitHub introduced GitHub Accelerator some time ago. It is a funding program for open source projects. Now the next round has been announced, which deals with new AI projects. The following programs are included:

  • unsloth AI
  • Gisgard
  • A law
  • Now2
  • OpenWebUI
  • Long drive
  • HackingBuddyGPT
  • Internet verification
  • Inside
  • spoke.I

A total of $440,000 will be distributed. These can be used for marketing or referrals. All plans get free access to GitHub Copilot and other enterprise tools. There is also advice from M12 (Microsoft’s venture capital arm). Projects can win up to $350,000 in Microsoft and technology performance and Azure credits through the Microsoft Start-ups Founders Hub.
