The Beach Volleyball Tour PRO 2024 stops in Tulln again this year. For the 28th time, the prize money tournament for beach volleyball professionals is being held in Abad, Tulnin.
Last year, apart from the Lower Austrian State Championship, the “King of the Court” tournament took place in Austria for the first time in Daln, with numerous beach volleyball stars such as the runner-up world champion Clemens Doppler.
The Austrian Volleyball Association's kick-off press conference for the 2024 tour will take place on April 30, with the first stop this week being Neustadt am See as part of the traditional surf opening.
The event in Tulln from 22 to 24 August will be the biggest in Abad to date: the center court will be expanded to accommodate 800 people, a VIP area will be set up and numerous cooperation partners will present themselves on site. Same prize money
Women and Men As in previous years, women and men play and battle for the same amount of prize money. Qualifiers start at 12pm on Friday, with the finals taking place on Sunday 24th August from 2pm.
Dullen was fortunate to have Tom Blumauer (a well-known presenter at the Grand Slam in Klagenfurt, the World Cup in Vienna and the Olympics, and beach volleyball stadium announcer legend) in the tournament. Several years ago he connected with beach volleyball “that's the way, I like it…” and now SportUnion organizes the event in Dullen together with Langenleborn and the municipality of Dullen.
It is not yet clear whether teams from Tulln or Sportunion Langenlebarn will participate – at least in qualification – but a high-quality field of participants is expected, along with teams from abroad.
