Next-generation Siemens ultrasound systems
Siemens Medical Solutions has introduced two new ‘X-class’ ultrasound
platforms, the Acuson X500 and Acuson X300. Both systems have a new
ergonomic design and combine this with fully featured performance and
innovative features normally found only on premium systems.
 Their
excellent image quality coupled with penetration up to 30cm enables
uncomplicated examination of patients who are difficult to scan. The
systems both have a flat panel design and are suitable for daily
clinical routine, as well as for more complex cardiovascular
examinations, challenging 3D and 4D examinations, paediatrics or
internal medicine.
The light weight and compact size of the Acuson X300 (pictured) makes
it ideal for mobile applications. The full range of features provides
flexibility in all scanning environments from radiology, internal
medicine or obstetrics/ gynaecology, to basic cardiology examinations.
