Mental healthcare trust chooses RAM system
West London Mental Health Trust has announced the purchase of
asset-management software from Real Asset Management (RAM) to assist
with the efficient and accurate monitoring of its fixed-asset base.
The Trust, which employs 4,000 members of staff and has around 30
sites, wanted an efficient means of managing its thousands of assets, to
replace its existing packaged accounts software.
The new system, RAM’s Series4000, which has been introduced at over
140 UK trusts, enables West London to produce fast, high-quality
management reports, and make financial forecasts for any future period.
“The new system provides us with a lot more functionality”, said
Kalpa Shah, Capital and Cost Accountant at the Trust. “The range of
management reports is impressive with the capability to write bespoke
reports, enabling us to respond to managers and auditors’ queries much
more quickly. We can also configure the system in a way that best suits
us, giving a high level of control.”
