New Irish hospital selects Orion’s Rhapsody

The new Beacon Hospital in Sandyford, Dublin, has chosen Orion Health’s Rhapsody integration engine to provide sharing of critical data between its clinical and business data systems.

The nine-floor hospital — a joint venture between Beacon Medical Group, which built the hospital, and Triad, an American company that operates the hospital — will use the tool, consistently rated the number one healthcare integration engine by independent analyst KLAS, to integrate all its systems. "We chose Rhapsody because it is easy to use and maintain and will grow with Beacon’s future expansion", said Marie O’Reilly, Director of IT at the hospital, which opened in November. "It will enable consistent monitoring tools as well as seamless and efficient movement of data."

"Beacon Hospital marks Orion Health’s official expansion into the Irish healthcare market and effectively casts Orion as a key player in the continued evolution of Europe’s varied health economies", said Mark Capill, Orion Health’s Regional Director, Europe.

Orion Health is a global provider of clinical workflow and integration technology for the healthcare sector. Its European offices are based in London. See www.orionhealth.com
