German hospital chooses Sectra PACS
The Krankenhaus Düren hospital has chosen healthcare IT provider
Sectra to provide its picture archiving and communications system
(PACS).
The hospital, in Düren, Germany, needed a system to help optimise
workflow for its clinicians. The Sectra PACS will provide a totally
integrated system allowing radiologists and clinicians alike to read
images without compromising diagnostic quality or patient integrity.
Sectra is one of the world’s major providers of diagnostic imaging
systems. More than 850 hospitals worldwide use the system daily and more
than 40 million radiology examinations are diagnosed in Sectra’s system
annually. Their systems have been installed in North America,
Scandinavia and most major countries in Europe and the Far East. The
company is Swedish, with offices in 11 countries.
