Data-protection course deemed “highly relevant”
Connecting for Health (CfH) has rated an information-governance
course “highly relevant” to all those working in data protection and
confidentiality within healthcare and socialcare, in a recent review.
The training course, the ISEB Certificate in Data Protection,
designed by specialist training provider QT&C Ltd, was praised as
“almost a prerequisite for all those responsible for data protection” in
the document, which can be downloaded from the CfH website.
The course is expected to be recommended as a suitable standard
qualification for information-governance professionals and others with
data protection responsibilities within the NHS.
“We have established a considerable knowledge of information
governance within the NHS and are very pleased that our course in
particular has been acknowledged as highly relevant to its needs”, says
Nathan Fowler, Business Development Manager at the Bedfordshire-based
QT&C.
The qualification can also be undertaken with a number of other
companies, which are listed on the British Computer Society website at
www.bcs.org
