Telindus wins accolades at CIB awards
IT solutions provider Telindus has won two Communications in Business
(CIB) awards, for its use of wireless technology at the Royal Hospitals,
Belfast.
Telindus’ project — which was reported upon in our February 2006
issue — won the award for both ‘Outstanding Achievement’ and ‘Best
Wireless Project’ at the awards, held in London on 7 September.
“The wireless project at the Royal Hospitals was outstanding in
several respects”, said Richard Thurston, chairman of the judging panel
at the awards. “It utilised the wireless LAN for a range of innovative
applications, which were integrated tightly and with proven results.”
