ELMS for Dumfries and Galloway
The installation of Ethitec’s equipment loans-management system,
ELMS2, has helped NHS Dumfries and Galloway support residents living
within its 2,500 square mile coverage area by delivering a rapid and
effective community equipment service.
“It is no exaggeration to say that the system has transformed our
operation. It allows the entire department to operate seamlessly across
an enormous geographical area”, said Dumfries’ ICES Manager, Robert
McCallay.
ELMS2 has also improved the quality of information available to the
Trust’s healthcare managers. “The system means we always know where our
equipment is, can see what’s in stock, what’s being cleaned and can
access the maintenance and refurbishment status of individual items.”
