Perito streamlines NHS recruitment
St Mary’s NHS Trust in Paddington, London, is the first hospital to
link its human resources (HR) recruitment service auto-matically to the
national NHS jobs website through ICS Computing’s Perito HR.
New vacancies at the Trust are generated automatically by Perito and
can be instantly posted onto the NHS jobs website. Similarly,
candidates’ job applications from the website are automatically
downloaded into the local HR system.
The Perito system further enhances the recruitment process by forcing
applicants to enter data relating to specific vacancies rather than
automatically applying without fully considering the post. This reduces
the amount of application sifting for the HR department as it prevents
applicants from applying indiscriminately to potentially thousands of
vacancies that may match their profile.
HR Director Deborah O’Dea said, “Implementing Perito e-recruitment is
already streamlining our
HR processes and delivering significant cost savings. We expect even
greater efficiencies when we implement the full Perito system later this
year.”
