Mobile xray system for Sandwell
Xograph Imaging Systems, an independent supplier of digital
radiography (DR) solutions, has received a contract to supply a direct
digital mobile xray system to the forensic department at Sandwell
Hospital.
MobileDaRt, a motor-driven DR system comprising a large-area CXDI-50G
portable flat-panel detector from Canon, will be installed into the new
purpose-built mortuary to assist in post-mortems and forensic
investigations.
MobileDaRt provides rapid high-definition digital images three
seconds after exposure. Images are available electronically and can be
archived and recalled instantly. The ergonomic and compact design of
Mobile DaRt ensures safe and accurate positioning in the confined space
of the mortuary.
