New DICOM print solution from Ferrania
Global imaging company Ferrania Technologies has launched the
Ferrania LifeImager Referral Print Solution, an innovative DICOM-compliant
inkjet-based system designed specifically for medical imaging.
Ideal where distributed printing or patient report imaging is
required, the LifeImager can print images generated from many different
modalities, including ultrasound, MRI, CT, nuclear medicine, PET,
digital dental and image intensifiers.
Comprising Ferrania LifeWeb DICOM software, a Canon PIXMA iP8500
printer and Ferrania OptiJet cartridges and papers, the system can
connect any printer to a DICOM network through a standard PC supporting
Windows XP or higher, transforming any Windows-based printer into a
DICOM printer.
