Easy-clean keyboard
Industrial and medical keyboard supplier InduKey has announced the
launch of its new easy-clean keyboard — perfect for use in the chemical
or in a medical environment, and pharmaceutical industries where
cleanliness is vital.
According to its manufacturers, the InduProof3 keyboard (pictured)
excels wherever dirt, dust and splashing water are a possibility.
Encased in a silicone cover, the keyboard is sealed to IP68 standard,
making it completely waterproof and dustproof. The base of the
InduProof3 is made of a sealed metal plate which protects against harsh
cleaning fluids and disinfectants; it uses mechanical key switches for
excellent tactile feedback and durability; and it can be easily operated
with a gloved hand.
The keyboard is available for either PS/2 or USB input and uses a
‘mouse button’ cursor control.
InduKey is headquartered in Germany. Its UK base is in Begbroke,
Oxfordshire.
