Dudley chooses Capula PAS
Dudley Hospital NHS Trust and long-term working partner Siemens
Medical Solutions have chosen Staffordshire-based healthcare systems
provider Capula to supply and implement its Oasis Patient Administration
System (PAS).
Version seven of the Oasis system will be implemented along with A&E
and maternity functionality, as part of an ongoing IT modernisation
project at the Trust.
“Capula is delighted that its Oasis system has been selected as the
PAS at Dudley Hospital NHS Trust. We are looking forward to working with
Siemens and becoming a key component of the IT healthcare strategy
within the project”, said Capula Healthcare Business Development Manager
Marcus Mellor.
Janet Powell, IT Trust Manager at Dudley Hospital NHS Trust, said: “The
Trust has been impressed by the look and feel of Oasis and the staff is
looking forward to using a new, more modern PAS application.”
Siemens Medical Solutions, which has worked with Dudley Hospital NHS
Trust on various projects over the past five years, has its UK
headquarters in Bracknell, Berkshire.
