Questmark chosen by NHS PASA for videoconferencing services
Long Eaton-based Questmark, a supplier of videoconferencing systems
and services, has announced a three-year framework agreement with the
NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency (PASA).
The agreement covers all parts of the NHS including care and hospital
trusts, GP surgeries, the Medical Research Council, other public-sector
organisations in central and local government and suppliers providing
services on behalf of the NHS.
According to Sam McMaster, Chief Executive of Questmark: “The use of
videoconferencing is expanding in the NHS, especially into telemedicine
applications. However, these require quality implementation, utilising
systems integration skills, to realise their full potential. Achieving
this latter depends on the integration of medical equipment such as xray
scanners, visualisers and examination cameras with the videoconferencing
systems.”
He concludes: “This framework agreement will enable Questmark to
build on our success in the NHS and position ourselves as a leading
supplier of videoconferencing solutions to healthcare in the UK.”
