New motor-driven DR system brings rapid results
Gloucestershire xray systems reseller Xograph (‘Ex-o-graph’) has
launched the first fully integrated mobile digital radiography (DR)
system, known as Mobile DaRt from Canon, which is set to boost efficiency
and speed up patient examination time.
Comprising a motor-driven mobile xray unit and the acclaimed large area
CXDI-50G portable flat-panel detector from Canon, the new DR system is
designed for bedside examinations and enables rapid image delivery, making
it ideal for trauma assessment and ICU environments.
Mobile DaRt, which has been ergonomically designed to ensure easy
operation, provides users with high-definition images that are ready to
view just a few seconds after exposure at the patient’s bedside. “It is an
exciting launch for the UK medical imaging marketplace”, says Neil Staff,
Technical Director at Xograph. “Mobile DaRt is the first fully integrated
mobile DR system in production and will be highly effective in trauma or
critical situations where the patient can’t be moved.”
