Rostima scheduling service helps cut business costs
Organisations can now receive an indepth analysis of employee
scheduling, helping them produce schedules that reduce costs and optimise
business efficiency, thanks to a new service by West-London-based
rostering specialists Rostima.
The workforce management solutions provider’s new Rostima Activity
Value Analysis (RAVA) service assists firms in understanding cost drivers
associated with the workforce of the business. It then helps maximise the
cost reductions of future scheduling and business planning.
“The RAVA service concept has been developed from Rostima’s extensive
experience of analysing customers’ businesses prior to implementation of
Rostima solutions”, explains Kim Berknov, Rostima CEO. “To achieve unique
labour-cost savings businesses have to reassess the way they establish
workload and use the RAVA concept to identify where and how their
businesses can change and gain.”
The RAVA service involves Rostima consultants working with customers to
gain a detailed insight into business functionality, where activities
carried out and the cost of completing each activity come under scrutiny.
A value-based model of the business’s overall workload is then
developed and a schedule-creation engine containing workload data then
automatically generates schedules that meet the requirements of workplace
rules, including government regulations and staff contract details. This
powerful system performs millions of calculations to find the least-cost
schedule to satisfy the work that needs to be covered.
