Advanced telephony for Mac users
PCS 50, a proactive communication station (or PCS) for the Apple Mac OS
X operating system, making advanced business telephony available to the
Apple Mac community for the first time, has been launched by Chorleywood
communications firm SpliceCom.
Identical in operation and functionality to the Windows version, the
Apple variant can be used on any iMac, PowerBook or iBook running OS X,
and provides the capacity to converge the company’s maximiser telephone
system with the Internet, intranet or any web-based application.
The application is now bundled free with every maximiser system
purchased. It is also available as a free upgrade for existing maximiser
customers.
