Employee induction made e-easy
Induction, from UK training specialist Balance Learning, is a blended
learning programme that can help public sector organisations improve the
efficiency of their induction process for new employees — reducing staff
time spent away from the workplace.
The programme includes a template for face-to-face workshops and work
assignments, as well as a customisable online course developed in
partnership with Cambridgeshire County Council.
The course covers mandatory details on the implications of data
protection, freedom of information and health and safety issues, and a
section that can be tailored to fit the organisation’s history, mission,
structure, values, goals and policies. Featuring interactive exercises and
tests before and after completion, it gives feedback on whether the
training has been undertaken and understood.
The trainer pack includes details on how to use Induction and contains
PowerPoint slides, hand-outs, exercises and role plays, and a
facilitator’s script for the workshop.
Balance Learning (see

assignments to aid the transfer of learning back to the workplace.
