Redstone Communications has announced the launch of 118 600, a new
directory enquiries service for the healthcare sector. As part of a
strategic partnership with BT Wholesale, Redstone aims to provide a
straightforward, low-cost service with clear charges and dependable
responses, managed by more than 2300 UK-based operators with access to
BT’s directories. Up to 24% cheaper than the two leading enquiry
numbers, the service is constantly available, with 85% of calls
responded to within 15 seconds. “With our strong partnerships and
expertise in voice communications, it was an obvious step to add a
directory enquiries service to our existing portfolio”, said Rob Bruce
of Redstone. “This extends the value of the service we offer, whereby
customers can come to us for complete quality solutions for all their
voice, data and Internet requirements.”
The service is now live to UK healthcare providers. Calls from a
landline cost 35 pence per call then 10 pence per minute, providing up
to two numbers per call. Organisations can reprogram their PBX systems
and route all directory enquiries to 118 600.
