Printer solution and software supplier AboutFaceSolutions (AFS) is
offering UK healthcare firms the free use of a high-spec colour laser
printer, under a scheme by US partner company TallyGenicom. Interested
parties can choose between two network-ready all-purpose colour laser
printers, both designed with public sector organisations and businesses
in mind. They will have free use of the printer, which will be installed
and fully maintained by TallyGenicom, for up to three years — with no
capital outlay — just a small charge for toner and a start-up pack.
“This scheme is perfect for hospitals”, said AFS Managing Director
Norman Higgs. It allows NHS organisations to invest in state-of-the-art
laser print technology without stretching the limited capital investment
budgets that hospital departments have. This means that new printers can
be sourced quickly and easily for use in key printing applications, such
as blood test requests, medical records, pathology reports and a variety
of other hospital documents.”
