Tribal Group of Leeds and US health-intelligence provider CorSolutions
are entering into a strategic partnership to support the healthcare
needs of sufferers from chronic diseases and conditions — an estimated
60% of the adult population of England. Through Tribal Group’s
subsidiaries, Secta Consulting and Mercury Health, the American firm
will provide management solutions to the public and private sectors that
will maximise patients’ life potential while improving the targeted
provision of care. “The commitment to measurably improving lives
should have no geographic limits”, stated Richard Vance, CEO of
CorSolutions. “We share a vision with Tribal Group and believe our
combined resources will provide new and ground-breaking solutions to
support the UK healthcare system.”
The alliance aims to support strategic health authorities and PCTs in
accurately assessing the health status of their populations, determining
chronic-disease requirements and expenditures, and shaping services to
meet these needs. Solutions will be integrated with the Expert Patient
and National Service Framework programmes, and will provide a complete
understanding of current and projected expenditures along with
customised risk-management solutions.
“This partnership represents a tremendous opportunity to deliver
life-changing improvements to patients”, said Tribal Group CEO Henry
Pitman. “By embracing a proven model to effectively target the
management of long-term illnesses, Tribal and CorSolutions combine the
best of UK and US expertise.”
