18 February 2010

The number of applications that Nexcom’s NISE Series of fan-less embedded computer systems are able to address has been expanded with the introduction with two new platforms which are specifically targeted at the healthcare sector.

NISE 3110-M and NISE 3140-M are rugged fan-less embedded computer systems which incorporate a medical grade 120W power adapter (EN UL60601-1/UL60601-1). In addition, both platforms incorporate a fanless design which makes for noise-free/ultra-reliable operation; and are therefore perfect for use in even the quietest of healthcare environments.

The NISE 3110-M Supports the Intel Core 2 Duo /Core Duo/ Celeron M processors, and has a multitude of connectivity options including Dual LAN, 6 x USB, VGA, 3 x RS232 and 1 x RS232/422/485 via DB44 Connector and PCI Expansion. The NISE 3110-M can be utilized as a computing platform within a self-service healthcare kiosk or for a wide variety of general medical computing applications.
