iSOFT to distribute Picis high-acuity systems globally

Picis, a provider of information systems for A&E departments,
operating theatres and intensive therapy units, and iSOFT have entered
into a strategic alliance whereby iSOFT will distribute, implement and
provide international support for selected solutions from the Picis
CareSuite family of high-acuity systems.
iSOFT will focus initially on ICU and anaesthesia products in the United
Kingdom, Ireland, Scandinavia, Australia and New Zealand.
The two companies have entered into an agreement to enable hospitals
to deploy a comprehensive HIT software solution all from one source. The
complementary product lines between Picis and iSOFT were a significant
factor in establishing this alliance.

The agreement enables Picis to achieve a greater presence within
these markets, expanding on its already strong existing client base.

Frimley Park Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Torbay Hospital in
