JAOtech adds RFID scanner to bedside terminals

JAOtech has added an optional hybrid RFID scanner and smartcard
reader to its range of multimedia Smart Terminals to make the
identification of medical staff quick, easy and secure, for access to
clinical records at the bedside.
Smartcard readers are ideal for managing a pre-payment system and are
already available integrated on the underside of the terminal for the
patients’ ease of use.
The addition of an RFID scanner provides medical staff with a
separate and secure identification process that does not require the
patient to remove their card from the reader.
