iSOFT offers bursaries to attend HC2008

iSOFT is offering bursaries to ten healthcare professionals to attend
the Healthcare Computing 2008 conference and exhibition (Harrogate,
21-23 April 2008).
It is part of the company's drive to encourage a next generation of
doctors, nurses and professions allied to medicine to play an active
role in driving improvements in patient care through better use of IT.
The offer is being made in partnership with organisers BCS and BJHC
Limited.
Paul Richards, managing director of iSOFT UK and Ireland, said:
“iSOFT is passionate about creating real benefit through the adoption of
appropriate technologies that make a direct contribution to the
well-being of patients and the performance of clinical staff. Integral
to this is the belief that clinicians and health professionals should be
the next generation of informed IT adopters in the NHS.”
Applications are encouraged from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland
as well as those from England.
The bursaries include a three day delegate pass, travel expenses and
an accommodation allowance.
