New uses of fingerprints
A Winnipeg dentist has installed an elementary
fingerprint-recognition system so that his patients can announce their
arrival for an appointment with a touch of their fingers on its screen.
Patients, most of whom are children, can announce their presence in his
surgery without the need for a receptionist.
