New Computer Misuse Act offences apply to NHS
In the last week of the last session of Parliament, a law was enacted
strengthening the offences in the Computer Misuse Act 1990. These
offences will apply to all NHS computer systems and form part of the
Government’s strategy to reassure the public that databases holding
citizens’ personal records can be trusted.
