Giant clinical data centre at heart of new IT-services alliance for
NHS Scotland
The NHS in Scotland has signed a £300m, 11-year contract with a
consortium led by Atos Origin to provide it with end-to-end delivery of
its principal ICT services.
The consortium will store and manage the summary medical records of
every NHS patient in the country in a 17,000 square foot, £7m data
centre in Livingston, which was opened late last month.
