Manchester developing de-cluttering technology to broaden Web access

 

Scientists at the University of Manchester are developing software that will make it much easier to understand and navigate websites and has the potential to make Web surfing easier and more informative for both mobile users and handicapped users.

The project team aim to develop an accessible format that is richer in content and more contextual than current screen readers for the visually impaired manage to achieve.
