England’s Department for Education and Skills (DfES) has invited
views on its draft of regulations, made under section 12 of the Children
Act 2004, that will constitute the legal framework for the operation and
maintenance of the indices by which information about children can be
exchanged between child-care professionals.
The present consultation — Information Sharing Index: Consultation on
Draft Information Sharing Index (England) Regulations and Partial
Regulatory Impact Assessment — ends in mid December
