Launch of the national collection of publications on healthcare informatics in the UK

The UK National Health Informatics Collection of publications was officially launched last month. It has been started by the Health Informatics Unit of the University of Central Lancashire as a repository of books, journals, reports and conference proceedings on healthcare informatics in the UK, and it aims to be an inclusive, alive and growing collection of recorded developments in this field. It will be made available for reference at a future date.

A small team of librarians is presently cataloguing the first contributions for the archive — from the late NHS Information Authority, individual donors and BJHC.

You can view the progress of the collection online.
