‘Terminator’ terminates HIV privacy

 
In June, the Governor of California — Arnold Schwarzenegger — signed into law a bill requiring each HIV case to be reported by name to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Surprisingly, most AIDS workers in the State welcomed the move. The new legislation will allow the State to continue to receive between $50 and $100m per year to help in its HIV-related initiatives.
