Health sector spending too little on software

Only about £20 per employee is being spent on software in healthcare organisations in the UK, according to a recent survey commissioned by database-software provider FileMaker. In government at large, it’s about £100 per person, but in the media, print and publishing sector, employers spend between £100–150 per member of staff.

To benefit from the efficiencies that technology can bring, it is vital that users have access to the best and most up-to-date software, says the company.
