Electronic data
sharing between agencies responsible for child protection may soon
become the norm throughout Scotland.
In May, the Data Standards and eCare Division of the Scottish Executive
launched version 1 of the eCare Framework for multi-agency information
exchanges, and last month, nine local authorities joined forces in a
contract with socialcare-systems supplier Anite Public Sector to
integrate its product, SWIFT, with their multi-agency stores.
