| England’s Director
General of NHS IT, Richard Granger, and John Bacon, a Department of
Health director who until April this year was overall senior responsible
officer for the National Programme for IT, are expected to appear before
the powerful House of Commons Public Accounts Committee (PAC) later this
month, to answer MPs’ questions about the £6.2bn NPfIT.
Official publication of the NAO report is scheduled for “early
summer”, about a year later than originally planned.
The meeting is currently scheduled for 26 June. See the PAC
