| The National Audit
Office report on the provision of out-of-hours primary care in England
highlights the need to improve recording practices and communication
between doctors treating patients out of hours and the patients’ GPs.
The report reveals that only 39% of out-of-hours providers were able
to send details of all consultations to patients’ registered practices
by 8am the following day.
