LogicaCMG to network armed-services’ healthcare and dental services

 
Late last month and following a three-year assessment and development phase, Defence Minister Don Touhig awarded LogicaCMG the 10-year, £80m service contract for the delivery of the Defence Medical Information Capability Programme (DMICP).

LogicaCMG will deliver a set of integrated healthcare and dental-records systems that will, when fully rolled out and linked, give clinicians from all three medical services of the armed forces and the Defence Dental Service access to their patients’ records wherever they are in the world and whenever needed. The system has been designed to be fully interoperational with England’s national care-records system.
